Description

The WELE SB316Z is a BCV50 double-column bridge-type machining center configured for high-speed, high-accuracy milling of large workpieces. A 12,000 RPM built-in spindle, 70 bar coolant-through-spindle, 120-tool magazine, and Fagor linear scales on all three axes make it a production-ready solution for aerospace, energy, mold & die, and heavy precision components.

12,000 RPM BCV50 built-in spindle — Integral-motor design eliminates the gearbox for higher RPM, smoother running, and better surface finish. 420 Nm (310 ft-lb) of torque handles aggressive roughing while the 12,000 RPM top end opens the door to high-speed finishing in molds, aluminum aerospace structures, and graphite electrodes.

1,000 PSI coolant through spindle — A 70 bar high-pressure CTS system with high-capacity tank punches chips clear of deep cavities, extends tool life on hard materials, and enables aggressive feedrates on small-diameter tooling.

Linear scales on X, Y, and Z — Direct position feedback on every axis closes the loop on thermal growth and ballscrew wear, holding accuracy through long cycles and across the full work envelope.

120-tool magazine — Run lights-out with the tooling library to handle complex multi-operation parts without operator intervention.

Optional extended Z-axis travel to 1,000 mm (39.4″) — Greater Z capacity for tall workpieces, deep pockets, and long-reach tooling.
