DMG Mori NL2500SY/700 CNC Turning Center with Dual Spindle, Y-Axis and Live Tooling
The DMG Mori NL2500SY/700 is a dual-spindle CNC turning center with Y-axis and live tooling, built for high-production precision machining. With a 27.6-inch bed, a high-output main spindle at 34.8 HP, and a sub-spindle for complete part machining in a single setup, the NL2500SY/700 is engineered for shops that need to eliminate secondary operations and maximize throughput. The Mitsubishi MSX850BM control running MAPPS 3 conversational software makes programming straightforward at the machine.
The main spindle runs to 4,000 RPM with a 3.58-inch through-bore and a Kitagawa 10-inch hollow chuck — well suited for larger diameter barstock and chucked parts. The sub-spindle features a Kitagawa 6-inch hollow chuck with a 1.69-inch bore, allowing complete backworking without re-fixturing. Both spindles include in-machine tool presetters for fast, accurate tool setup. The 12-station turret with Y-axis and bolt-mounted live tooling supports milling, drilling, and contouring in the same cycle as turning.
This machine is automation-ready with a multiple-bar bar feeder interface, work unloader, workpiece ejector, and a right-side hinge chip conveyor for unattended operation. Water-soluble coolant system, air device, and air pressure switch are all included. No step-down transformer required for U.S. 220V installation.
